The Diabetes Research Institute is getting lots of media exposure this month as DRI joins forces with two excellent media sources:

1.  DRI is partnering with the online diabetes publication Insulin Nation and beginning this week, with the September 2012 issue, Insulin Nation will have a feature entitled “Cure Insight,” which will focus upon the work of a specific DRI researcher. The first story, titled “Inside the Hope Factory,” features Dr. Camillo Ricordi and the strategy for finding a cure.  

2. An online video channel (think YouTube) called DiabetesCareTV.com has been around for awhile as a place where video shorts, interviews, and the like provide the latest in diabetes research and development, news and other information to the global diabetes community.   DRI is now going to be providing some of the video content shared on DiabetesCareTV.com, with Diabetes 2.0 videos featuring DRI scientists speaking about their respective areas of expertise and progress are now posted on the site.
